I first met S for a boudoir photoshoot I did with her, during the session, she mentioned having NEVER taken professional photos with her hubby, not even for their wedding day, because they’re both very shy and discreet in front of the camera. Although, she felt SO comfortable during our session together, that she told me she’d book a session for her and hubby with me – and they did!
We kicked off the photoshoot at a beautiful orchard, a perfect spot for capturing the magic of their love. The trees were stunning, and the evening light was just perfect for photography. S wore her stunning wedding gown, which looked even more incredible against the backdrop of the orchard. J couldn’t stop smiling as he watched her, and you could see just how much they adored each other.
One of the best things about this wedding photoshoot was how relaxed and fun it was, despite them feeling a little shy at first. S and J were in their element—laughing, playing, and being a little bit silly. At one point, S picked up her dress and ran through the orchard, with J close behind. They were laughing the whole time, and it made for some amazing candid shots. You could really see the love and joy between them, which is exactly what you want to capture during a wedding photoshoot.
After spending some time in the orchard, we decided to mix things up and head to a nearby rocky area. It was a bit of a climb to get to the top, but S and J were up for the adventure. Their adventurous spirit was really inspiring, and it added an exciting twist to the photoshoot.
When we reached the top, the view was absolutely breathtaking. The landscape stretched out below us, and the sunset was starting to paint the sky with golden hues. This setting was the perfect contrast to the softness of the orchard and showed another side of their relationship—one that’s built on shared adventures and exploring new heights together.
The best part of this wedding photoshoot was how it really captured S and J’s personalities. They were completely themselves—no stiff poses or forced smiles. Just genuine moments of connection, fun, and love. That’s what makes a wedding photoshoot special—not just the location or the outfits, but the authentic emotions and memories that are captured.
Looking back, I’m so glad we chose these two locations for their wedding photoshoot. The orchard gave us a warm, intimate vibe, while the rocky terrain added a touch of adventure and drama. Together, these settings helped tell the story of S and J’s relationship in a way that was true to who they are.
If you’re thinking about doing a wedding photoshoot after your big day, don’t be afraid to make it your own. Whether it’s revisiting special places, adding a bit of adventure, or just being your goofy selves, what matters most is that it feels like you. The photos will serve as a lasting reminder of your love story, capturing the little moments that make your relationship unique.
S and J’s wedding photoshoot was a blast, and the photos turned out to be a beautiful reflection of their love and joy. If you missed having a professional photographer at your wedding, or if you just want to relive the magic in a fun, relaxed setting, a wedding photoshoot, or simple couple shoot, could be just what you’re looking for.
